How It Works
Requesting A Consultation:
We are a small masonry company that thrives on efficiency and clear communication. There are typically a number of hours and resources invested in providing a project proposal for your review. Since we receive an average of a dozen or more requests for quotes each week, it is not feasible for us to provide free estimates. We offer a flat rate of $75.00 (including GST) for consultations/quotes. If your project requires CAD drawings or further designing, additional fees may apply. All fees incurred during the quotation process are deducted from the fixed price proposal. This also helps to let us know that you’re serious about hiring us for your project, and that you value our time as much as we value yours. Please send us an email containing your address, phone number, any pertinent photos and information, as well as acknowledging that you have read and agree to paying the consultation fee in order to begin the process. If you're unable to contact us through email, then please leave us a detailed voicemail and we will get back to you within 2 business days.
Consultation fees are due directly after a site visit is scheduled, and can be paid in the form of cash, cheque, or e-transfer. Please advise us as to your preferred method of payment when contacting us so we can issue the appropriate invoice. Once consultation fees are paid and a site visit has been completed, a fixed price proposal will be emailed to you within 2 business days. Establishing Project Parameters:​
Once the lay of the project with all of its costs and details has been agreed upon, we ask that a deposit of 10% of the total amount established be placed in order to schedule your project. Another 40% of the project costs is required just prior to the acquisition of any materials or the commencement of any labour-related services. A determined payment plan and production schedule will then be created and agreed upon to ensure a smooth construction process. Final payment is required the day the project meets its completion. Acceptable methods of payment include cheques, e-transfers, and cash.
Our Guarantee:
Any and all associated project materials and work that is carried out to the quality standards of Lennox Masonry Ltd. is guaranteed for a total of 5 years from the date of completion. We carry $5,000,000 in Liability Insurance as well as additional coverage through the Workers Compensation Board of Canada with zero accidents to date. This protects both yourself and us when it comes to the property, materials, tools & equipment, and any accidents which may occur. We are also proud members of the Better Business Bureau and the Victoria, B.C. Chamber of Commerce.
You will be receiving quality, meticulous workmanship in exchange for your payment. The building site will be left neat and orderly at the end of each workday.

Patios & Walkways
Northern & Southern Gulf Island Residents:
At Lennox Masonry, we typically receive dozens of requests per year from Gulf Island residents in regard to our services. We understand that there is a lack of qualified and certified masonry contractors on the majority of the surrounding islands. As a Victoria, BC based masonry company, we have accommodated many northern and southern Gulf Island residents over the years because of that fact. From our experience, few people want to incur the costs associated with a preliminary site-visit due to the travel expenses and time involved. What we have found is that we dedicate a great deal of our time to corresponding with people about their project in order to obtain all of the project parameters. Unfortunately, it is not feasible for us to offer this type of service without compensation. The consultation fee is $75.00 (including GST) and is required prior to sending us the required information. The consultation fee is deducted from the fixed price proposal that we will present to you after the project has been thoroughly assessed.

Here's what we need:
- clear photos which display every aspect of the project
- approximate dimensions and measurements (if a chimney repair or chimney rebuild is required, please measure the entirety of the chimney, slope of the roof, workable space at the base of the chimney, etc..)
- full address of the project location
- any and all information in your possession that pertains to the project (inspection reports, CAD drawings, building plans, etc..)
Please note that in some situations, a site-visit may be required prior to creating a proposal for your review.
